Dayton Days originated with horse racing over the Memorial Weekend. With changes in legislation, 2010 was the last year horse racing was held in our beautiful and historic Columbia County Fairgrounds in Dayton Washington.
In 2019, Dayton Days returned holding a one-day rodeo and today Dayton Days is growing holding two-day rodeos. As we continue to grow, we are looking to hold other events in addition to our annual rodeo over the Memorial weekend.
We are 401C4 non-profit, (a complete not-for-profit organization) consisting of volunteers who love what we do and are dedicated to keeping Dayton Days alive. All monies generated, raised or donated goes directly into our events that we hold and aids us in our efforts to bring horse racing back to our area and future projects at the Columbia County Fairgrounds.
We have a fantastic group of board members who are committed to bringing in events for our community to enjoy while protecting our rural heritage and history.
Our board members could not do what we do and hold our events without our dedicated volunteers within our community.
Meet our Board:
President: Tim Donohue
